Generally, the human body gets treated as a physical body only and if someone is talking about treatment for their mind, they might be tagged as a psycho. Well, in this blog we will discuss both entities, such as the physical body as well as the mind-body. But before continuing this blog I have a question for all of you. “First of all, let’s try to understand the concept of the physical body “

The physical body is a machine, that works continuously without much effort, where you don’t have to do much just have your diet, blood goes to veins, heat pumps, and the liver and other organs work automatically. Well, what to do with this body? Should we need a doctor, trainer, or nutritionist to make a diet plan or to keep our physical body more active? I think, NO!! Our body knows everything, it knows what to eat and how to treat ourselves. The only problem is that we ignore it either consciously or unconsciously but yes! We confront our voice, needs and wants. Have you ever noticed that some food disturbs our body so it’s a sign of our body that I don’t want this diet? It’s just we should be more careful and attentive to our bodies because our body is a one time gift we have from the universe.
There is a practice one can do for a more active physical body.
Like, we can try to notice what makes us feel cheerful, miserable or terrified. We can make a list of all these things and give ourselves 10 minutes a day, to think that who we are? No, it’s not about creating assumptions or making any decisions but it’s all about awareness. It’s about trying to figure out what’s happening inside us and noticing which behaviour is suffering us. To be aware of ourselves is as important as we are aware of others. We must try to notice the activities such as eating consciously, breathing deliberately and walking knowingly. You know the more aware we become, the more healthy life we will earn.
Now let’s try to move further and discuss mind body..
The mind is a creator, executor or driver of our whole life. I know that we can’t control what is happening in the world, but can’t we even control ourselves? It requires a large practice to be aware of our state of mind. It’s not that easy but it is more precious than anything on this planet.
Yes!! The power of the mind is unbelievable.
Why do yogis go for yoga? Why did Buddha choose meditation? It has a lot of reasons and we will discuss them in another blog. Well, we were discussing the mind, you know whatever our mind thinks is the only data we had stored previously and our mind can create a whole new world just without the contributions of our physical body. Yes, a full awareness of the mind will become a witness to our own. There is only one practice required to be aware of the mind-body that is the focus. Focus and meditation are not different activities. One can focus to meditate or one can meditate to focus. Meditation isn’t only about sitting in a room and closing your eyes for hours. Meditation is all about how much involvement we have in anything. Like if you have a flower in your hand, how much you love it, how much you stared it and how much you are eager to know more about it.Meditation means to observe or focus on whatever is in front of you without thinking about it .
